lifting question
lifting question
well i just saw this guys truck on craigslist 2wd xlt on 35s. it says he has 6 1/2 inches of lift. if you wanna look here it is http://atlanta.craigslist.org/cto/938655456.html
anyways i want to go to 35s. so i have 5 inches of lift now from BL and coil spring spacers in the front and blocks in the rear. what would be the best and cheapest way to get to that 6 1/2 or 7 inches like this guy has? i wanted to look at coils but summit doesnt carry them so i didnt know where else to look.

Well, my guess is....he has the 3" lift spindles in the front, the AAL and bigger blocks in the back, and a BL. which come out to about 6".
So with what you've done, you need to get the spindles and the AAL.

i called the guy and acted like i was interested. he said he had a 4 inch suspension and a 2 inch body. he didnt seem like he knew exactly what he was talkin about anyways. i would get the spindles as my next lift anyways. that would be 8 inches. i know i could fit 35s then.
well for the coil sprung rangers its kinda weird how fabtech always makes the 5.5in lift well the fabtech spindles i have are 3.5in lift and my camburg springs are 2.5 so thatd be 6in of suspension lift =/ i dunno why they dont just call their ultimate lift a 6in lift... unless their springs are only 2in lift now... but ive put my buddy's 35's on my ranger for a day and they didnt scrub at all but i couldnt flex at all cuz thats some stuffig! but i never hit any bumps at full turn so i guess i couldnt truely say they wouldnt rub but i managed to get by for a day with them..
