Looking for a good Suspension lift..
Looking for a good Suspension lift..
I have a 02' 4x4 ext. cab ranger. I already a have a body lift of 3'inchs on it but i was looking to put a 3inch suspension lift on it as well, wats a good brand, and wat size tires would fit with both lifts on.. thanks Jeff
4" Superlift. Only kit you can buy brand new for our trucks. Somebody is selling a used one on here right now for $750 shipped to your door. You can get about 5-6" out of those kits and that will allow you to run 35" tall tires. Maybe larger depending on how much cutting you want to do.
The superlift is actually a 3in suspension lift (the new knuckle) , with the 4th inch being obtained with you cranking your torsion bars, which you will have to do as well in order to get the truck level after the lift. You will not get 5-6 inches out of a Superlift....even with new torsion bars you won't get that much. But the ride sucks....If you go this route I would suggest to do the coilover conversion....I've done it as well as some other's on here, and it's really worth the money. The ride is soo much better. Good Luck!
thats for a 2wd truck. RCD doesnt make a 4x4 kit anymore
Epic fail

That's why the kit only comes with a 2in rear block for rear lift... Making the front 3in of lift they're hoping the truck sits level without crank. It's just not possible. You have to almost max out the t-bars with a superlift to get the truck where you want it and that creates a horrible ride.
Like NVS, said, most that have superlift, now have done the CO conversion and love it, plus it provides almost the same as the RCD kit... Though I feel it wears faster on the joints, unlike an RCD.

the rear block kit that comes with the superlift is actually 3'' and its not really the right way to do it anyway, stacking blocks doesnt work nearly as well as keeping the stock block and putting in belltec shackles
