What shocks do I need.......

I have a 3" Spindle lift in the front and soon to crank torsion bars, in the back I have 3 inch blocks and getting a add a leaf preatty soon too. So I need some shocks, considering that I still have the stock ones. Oh yeah its a 99' 2wd. I was looking at the pro comp es9000 but dont know what I need or what is the best with these lift mods. Thanks for all suggestions in advance.

the ES9000s are very stiff, i had them on my ranger, i would reccommend the 3000s, they will ride a little better

If it's a 99 2wd, you don't have torsion bars, you have coil springs. Unless it's a Trailhead, but still, Fabtech doesn't make spindle lifts for torsion bar equipped Rangers.

If he has a 2wd then he can use a spindle lift because he still has spindles.

I agree with Bob, the 9000's were stiff shocks, but worked well for the stress I put them through. The 3000's should be good, depending on how hard you are going to wheel.

9000's are high pressure gas.. 3000's are "cellular gas"
price difference is 2-3$ per shock.

9000's have been described as overly rough on road but good offroad esp
for the price. I just spent the $$$ and got edelbrock performer IAS which
is sorta a combination.. it has a special valve that lets it act both ways
for good highway and offroad.

If you want to spend as little money as possible you could do much worse
than either of the procomps!

Interesting, I didn't know they made spindle lifts for torsion bar Rangers.

The trailhead was basically an edge before they called it that.

Yeah, I did some looking into the proper shock for my Edge, with the same spindle lift and AAL's......only found the Fabtech pair to match the kit I'm gettin'.

Rancho said they didn't make one for it unless it was a stock height truck, and I really don't know of any others except Bilstein's.....
