Finally Double Lifted!!
Well, I Finally got the BL on! Figured i would start a new thread instead of putting the pics in the old one..
There are still a few things I need to do
1) bumpers
2) Exhaust
3) gap gaurds
4) get that ugly piece of plastic under the radiator off
gunna take the truck to the shop next week to get the bumpers put on(my mechanic is going to modify the brackets to make the rear bumper fit a lil better and make the cattle gaurd fit.) and go over everything to make sure its all good..
here are the pics.. let me know what you think!
back tire clearance:
Front Tire Clearance:
just a random pic of the suspension:
let me know what you think!!

well, that is a good question.. i was going to run the stockers, but now that they are off, i really have the itch to build some new ones, but i dont have the access to the tools or materials i need.. So, i am going to take down a few pics of some bumpers i like to my local fab guy and see how much he would charge to build it..
I will probably end up waiting till i get back to the states though.. that way **** isnt in euros lol..

I didn't know you could. The idea just seems weird to me I guess. I also don;t have a clue as to what it is that you are really doing over there and the situation and all. Does everyone have their car shipped over there? How much does it cost? See what I mean? I guess I have questions I didn't even know needed to be asked because I too was unaware, lol. Very interesting. BTW, those were rhetorical, you don't need to answer them, but just trying to show you what we over here might be thinking.

Shane- i know the rear needs more lift, i have been thinking about getting some add a leafs.. or shackles whichever.. oh, and i have some questions about the lift.. the "kit extensions" for the fuel filler, yeah, they were too small( diameter).. they were about two sizes to small.. so whenever i put gas int he truck it leaks a little bit.. any ideas?
Kyle, im going to learn you a few things lol..
The military will pay to ship your vehicle overseas.. One vehicle PER military member. And you have to have ATLEAST ONE year left on station. they also pay to ship it back. that easy lol. .Alot of people get their vehicles shipped over, some do not.. Some know there vehicles will not pass the inspections over here.. germany has some gay laws..

If it were me, I'd try to find some thin wall electrical conduit that fits the rubber hose and put that in. I don't know what kit you went with, but both summit and PA kits come with two different filler neck extentions: both different diameters. Never heard of this issue on 98-05 trucks. I know mine fit pretty dang tight..I even heated up the rubber some to allow the extention tubing to slider better into the rubber.
You may be able to make what you have work....by cutting a V in both sides of the rubber hose....doing this allows the diameter of the rubber get smaller wheere your clamps will be. Give that a shot.
