lower quuestion?

hey guys obviously im new but i was just wonderin where the lowered truck threads are...i just had a few simple questions...but i cant seeem to find anything...got a 92 ext cab and was just lookin for some ansmers...if someone could guide me in a direction thatd be sweet thanks!

There isn't many lowered guys on here...lots more on rangerpowersports.com but there should be someone here that can answer your questions....

yea i tried to get in rangerpowersports and became a member but somethins up with their stuff and im not allowed to post anyhting yet..weird...thanks for replyin tho i was just lookin for some basic info/ideas...but since you ask ill ask...i have a 92 ext cab ranger..id put pics on to show you if i could figure it out?..and when i bought it my buddy said he cut 1 and a half coils outta the front and flipped the shackles in the rear...i was curious how much that dropped it both ends cuz i wanna drop it more like a 5/8..with some nice 5 spoke wheels.i was gonna get drop beams and a flip kit but wasnt sure what that would do with shackles bein flipped and 1.5 coils cut off...sorry so long but thanks for help man

Keep trying RPS. I know there's a block now because of spam that you can't post until a certain time. PLENTY of lowered guys on there.

As for your question, it's really hard to say how much it dropped it without beginning numbers. I think, but don't quote me, cutting one full coil is either an inch or two inches. I wouldn't advise on cutting any more coils because of alignment issues. If you flip the shakles, that'll usually give you two inches in the back. To get more drop from the front, consider going with DJM dream beams and more in the back, consider a flip kit.

ok cool thanks... i will..thats what i was gonna do tho djm dream beams and a 5in flip kit if i can find one...just want to be lower and level if thats not too hard lol

You won't find a 5 inch kit. 4 inch max. With a 7.5 rearend, you'll sit at a 4 drop. 8.8 rear end, you'll sit at a 5.5 inch drop.

ahh...helpful helpful...so with what i have already..in your opinion how would i go about a decently level 5/8...or close to it?
