I have a 1999 Mazda 4x4 Torsion Bar Suspension. I want to replace the upper and lower ball joints and shocks. I’ve attached photos. Is this a two-piece unit for each side? Is the driver and passage side different? Can is update to a one-piece? Lots of confusing information out there. Can someone recommend a specific kit that will get the job done? This is the driver's side This is the passenger side
There's a LH and RH side that are essentially mirrored. So the two parts are different. There's a one-piece design for the uppers that replaces the original two piece. Parts and diagrams at: https://www.lmctruck.com/suspension/...th-torsion-bar
lmk how it goes. I have to do the same thing. I've already replaced the shocks but the bushings and ball joints on mine are trashed. I've been procrastinating because I really don't want to, but my local shop wants almost $2,500 to do it. Hard to justify when the total price of parts is less than $400.
