More questions...

If I lift my truck with raised spindles will the stock pitman arm work OK? When I lift her I'm completely rebuilding the front end. Spindles, inner and outer tie rod ends, lower ball joints, new upper control arms, alignment camber kit, inner and outer wheel bearings, and shocks. But i don't know if the pitman arm will need to be anything other than stock. I need a source for shocks, too. Shocks that are not only longer but with a larger diameter as well. Should I go for gas shocks, hydraulic shocks...or is it a "pick your poison" type of deal.

The truck will not be doing any off-roading.

I mean if you doing all that might as well just get a fabtech kit. And if the kit doesn't come with a new pittman arm, I'd say you are fine.

No worries. There is no pitman arm on a stock 98+ Ranger.
