New Shocks

So I picked up a set of Monroe Gas Matic shocks today. When I compress them and let them return to full height they extend at different rates. One of each set returns to extended length at half the time of the other. Both front and back sets react in the same manner. Should I return them?

try cycling them several times , see if that helps

just a word though , gas matic shocks are for vehicles that carry weight constantly

i use the reflex shocks and they ride very nice

I did cycle them about five or six times. That's when I noticed the difference. Thanks

i would return them

shocks that rebound at different rates will cause serious handling issues

do you have stock suspension or aftermarket

i have aftermarket rear springs with poly bushings , the monroe reflex shocks ride very nice

not too stiff , but also not too mushy
