not sure where to start
so i am needing to beef up my front end suspension so it can support and hold up 800 pounds of weight, any suggestions or ideas? i have to do it for the bumper that i want on my truck, like i say i have no idea where to start.
i have a 99 ford ranger 4x4 with 4 inch susp lift 3 inch body lift with 35 inch goodyear duratraks with an independent front suspension, also im not saying that the bumper is going to weigh 800 pounds i just need it to support 800 pounds
its mainly for the front bumper, but the front bumper is going to have a receiver hitch that i will be pulling alot and supporting alot because i have a heavy duty 16' trailer i move around alot, i just want to make sure that my front end will support the heavy duty bumper that im getting made/making
i dont see a problem with that just build a front bumper that uses a hitch that mounts through the frame in the front. the make some mount that mount the bumper to the frame. that way all the weight will be put onto the frame like it would with a hitch in the rear.
