Ok, stupid question

How to I crank my t-bars? Hear you guys talking about it alot and since my first truck was a 1985 F-150, 33s,(Missed)and it didn't have them I have no idea how to do it. Thanks in advance.

crank this bolt clockwise found in the pic below on both sides of the truck evenly most do it around 4 turns.

the bolt can be found on both the drivers and passangers side underneath the front of your seats on the frame.

And by doing that I will get about 1-2in of lift?

that little bolt lifts it that much? wow! If i decide to get a newer ranger how long would it take to do them

yes you want to relieve the weight on the suspension.
also dont check for height increase until you drive it around the block
a couple times.. it will "settle up"

ok, not to start an arguement, but since we're on the subject...why do you guys think you have to jack the truck up??? that serves no purpose other than making it slightly easier to turn the bolts...

I did mine on a rack. even easier than jacking it up :)

Don't put any sort of lubricant on those bolts! if they were to come out your front suspension wouldn't hold the weight of the truck anymore!

Well, that's a worst case scenario, but it does not take THAT much force to turn the bolts. For safety's sake, i even reccommend putting a touch of loc-tite on them afterwards also. Those bolts are very important!

it was front when they were installing a lift they where REMOVING the T-bar and they took a pic of the bolt to show the constant people asking what it looked like ignor the puller...
