Ok, stupid question
Ok, stupid question
How to I crank my t-bars? Hear you guys talking about it alot and since my first truck was a 1985 F-150, 33s,(Missed)and it didn't have them I have no idea how to do it. Thanks in advance.
crank this bolt clockwise found in the pic below on both sides of the truck evenly most do it around 4 turns.
the bolt can be found on both the drivers and passangers side underneath the front of your seats on the frame.

ok, not to start an arguement, but since we're on the subject...why do you guys think you have to jack the truck up??? that serves no purpose other than making it slightly easier to turn the bolts...

Don't put any sort of lubricant on those bolts! if they were to come out your front suspension wouldn't hold the weight of the truck anymore!
Well, that's a worst case scenario, but it does not take THAT much force to turn the bolts. For safety's sake, i even reccommend putting a touch of loc-tite on them afterwards also. Those bolts are very important!
