Which Part to use

Hey Guys, i need some help. The dad needs to know which part to get to remove the torsion bars.. OTC # 7816 or 7826

a BIG c-clamp does the job. I think we used a 12" or 14" c-clamp.

^yup that works. When I did mine I used the factory bottle jack with a socket extension on top of it. Probably not the safest method out there, but it did the job very well.


You don't really need to buy a tool to do it. A 2 prong gear puller will also work, you can rent one from a parts store if the other methods mentioned don't sound good to you.

I used a gear puller and i managed to mess up the threads lol.. It slipped off once and my god, scared the **** out of me and my buddy.
