Pics of the coil spacer install
5 Attachment(s)
So here are some pics of the install of my coil spacers on my 94 ranger.
here is a pic with just the tire off Attachment 154841 disconnect the sway bar and take off front shock Attachment 154842 After some blood and sweat we got the coil off which was a pain in the butt cause the nut was pretty well rusted. Attachment 154843 This part i would figure would be the most difficult but it was actually really easy and we didn't have any problems at all. Just drop in the spacer and flex the radius arm all the way down and pop the coil on. Didn't even need coil spring compressors which i thought we might need. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...z/DSC01378.jpg Boy those camber bushings are a ***** to get out. Here's my buddy Ross trying to get the ring off. Attachment 154844 And then do the same thing to the other side and let er down slowly. Also this is proof that alignment is pretty well needed. Attachment 154845 I hope this can help anyone else who tries to do this or hell maybe the pics will make someone happy. |
thanks. Lookin to do this soon

did you have to get new shocks for the coil spacers?
|
yea i got new shocks cause if i didn't they would probably be dead in about a year or so. Plus the front shocks were completely dead anyways.
|
