pics of ranger with a superlift

i know zach has one...but does anyone else have some pictures of rangers with a superlift? If I decided to lift it, I don't want to have to get new wheels, but I'm not sure if 16x8's will fit a wide enough tire that will look decent with a lift. I know, I shoulda got 15's but thats whiskey under the bridge now.

That looks really tough. I'm afraid my wheels wouldnt allow me to have wide enough tires and the lift would look goofy. is a 265 the widest tire you can fit on a 16x8?

correct what wheel tire combo you have currently? 265x75x16 fit stock and would look really tinny with a superlift...

Well, then I'm not getting a Superlift. I don't have the $$$ for a new set of wheels right now. damnit lol I'll just crank the torsion bars up front and be content.

no you havnt got your 265s yet have you?

you can get
305/75/16 BFG A/Ts 33x12.2x16
or
315/75/16 BFG A/Ts which is a 34.6"x12.2x16

if you get an A/T like the BFG, mpg wont be bad and road noise isnt bad either.

Thats cool. That's what I was looking at, a BFG A/T because of mpg....road noise doesnt bother me too much. No I didnt get the new tires yet, because I saw a lifted Ranger going through town and kept looking at yours....so I held off on buying tires until I made a decision on a lift.

I wonder if 305/75/16 would rub the fenderwells. Those would prolly stick out pretty far too lol.
Something to think about though. You know what size tires the red truck is running? width wise?

the 305 will not rub. im about 99.9% sure of it. you are blessed without fender flares

Shawn, dont worry about the rims yet, Heck Im runnin my stock 16x7's with a 285/75r16 on em...I was going to get the 305/75r16, but on a 7" wide rim any thing taller is gettin alittle risky of poppin a bead, especially in aired down situations. Im not much of a picture taker, but in my Avatar you can see my stockers with the SL....I noticed that the majority of the SL runnin ppl on this site didnt get the skid plate(its an optional thing) but Ill tell you what...its saved me on a couple of adventures. I would suggest the SL d-shaft ASAP too...I chose the skid plate instead of the D-shaft and now im wishing that i i would have down things differently...except for the skid plate saving me....and the big rubber/plastic decal that comes with the plate....yeah I "Shaved" it off on a few rocks....I mean curbs cause I strictly Mall Crawl...and the dents on my truck are from those run away shopping carts.....
