quarter elliptic -or- z-box and revolver shackles?
3 Attachment(s)
hey guys ive been looking at rear suspension setups that put less strain on the leafs and i wanted your guys input on if i should do them or not
the first is 034x4s version of a quarter elliptic Attachment 93521 and the other one is the "front leaf mount" z-box (mounts on frame and shackle mounts to bottom) Attachment 93522 revolver (rear shackle) Attachment 93523 let me know what you think, i know im over thinking flex and what not i just want less stress and binding in my suspension Thanks -Andy |
my buddy is gonna run revolvers on his rig. i'll let you know what he thinks of them

Thanks With just revolvers will there still be stress on the leafs

GB :) My vote is for Jey's idea. I'm pretty sure he had it pinned for street use and removed the pin for offroad. |

I've actually run the Z-boxes and revolver's on two different Jeeps, I didn't run into any problems with either but each one handled differently, but if I had to do it again, it would be the revolvers ... If I didn't go coils...

so is the vote for 1/4 elliptic or z-box revolvers?
|
If I was gonna run any of those, it'd be the Teraflex shackles.
