quarter elliptic -or- z-box and revolver shackles?
quarter elliptic -or- z-box and revolver shackles?
hey guys ive been looking at rear suspension setups that put less strain on the leafs and i wanted your guys input on if i should do them or not
the first is 034x4s version of a quarter elliptic

and the other one is the "front leaf mount"
z-box (mounts on frame and shackle mounts to bottom)

revolver (rear shackle)

let me know what you think, i know im over thinking flex and what not i just want less stress and binding in my suspension
Thanks

My vote is for Jey's idea. I'm pretty sure he had it pinned for street use and removed the pin for offroad.

yeah i plan on doing that and also beefing it up and putting my own mods to it
I've actually run the Z-boxes and revolver's on two different Jeeps, I didn't run into any problems with either but each one handled differently, but if I had to do it again, it would be the revolvers ... If I didn't go coils...
