quick jerry lift?

I was told by a guy when i was trying to lift my ex- pathfinder last summer, that you can use hockey pucks for a quick lift. And they never rot! Is this true? Could the pucks go in the shocks somewhere? I want to know!!!!

I'd say no. and no again. if you really wanted to you could use hocky pucks as a body lift, but for springs no.

Ask that same guy if he thinks a bat is good for a temporary drive shaft.

Yes and no, He used hockey pucks, but they were for lift blocks.....

Upon further "education" from us, he has since taken them out and added shackles.

Really, give the guy a break. He was asking a question. Some people aren't as mechanically inclined as others, doesn't mean they're any dumber.
