Her everyone, do the bolts for a b/l have go in from the top or bottom & do you have to take out your seats & carpet & all?

i would imagine you will have to pull some carpet up. the bed bolts go in from the top. and i think the cab ones do too.

 

ok, I was just wondering, cuz my friend is about to get his done tomorrow on his 2000 Ranger 4x4 ext. cab. 4.0 & they are gonna charge him $400 to do it. They said that it was gonna be so much because the bolts go in from the top...

chevys go in from the bottom.

 

They go in from the top, all of them, and you have to pull up the carpet in front of and behind the seats. You don't have to remove the seats. And be sure to soak the factory bolts in rust-penetrant over night before you do the lift, it will make it much easier...

 

haha, i got mine done at the Ford dealer.....$300, check around some more ;-)
