quick question about RCD lift

quick question about RCD lift

Im buying scutts rcd from his truck the only thing that has to be welded is the upper shock mount the piece they give you to wount the new shock. He said his wasnt welded just bolted on but can someone show me the part thanks

the new shock tower bucket IS NOT welded. The only welding are the shock tower gussets. These reinforce the shock tower bucket to the frame furthermore than just the shock tower bucket bolt.

Other's have ran the system without the gussets welded. I would advise not doing so and welding them in. If you call RCD they can accomodate you. OR you could call Aaron at Dixon Bros Racing. He set me up with slightly thicker gussets than what the RCD ones were. Of course I bought my kit from him.

the part you can see the shock itself is bolted to, is bolted to the factory shock tower. the gussets on the farce of the tower and frame need to be welded

nother question..


kit comes with front stainless lines..what bout rear?

extension block for the top of the diff, IIRC. im not runnin anything in the rear other than stock, but im only runnin the shackle, not the AAL.
