you can use the lowering kit in the rear of the truck (the flip kit) but it will not work for the front..

do a search on lowering an edge.. there was a topic a few days ago that will help you out

as i said in your first thread.. do a search..

but anyways, the edge has the same suspention as a 4wd (t-bar based). An easy way to get a quick drop is take out the lift block in the rear and un crank the t-bars in the front. You are going to have to take out the bump stops though

nope. be different.

Crank the tosion bars down and flip the hangers in the rear, and take out the factory block in the back, and that will be the same as a 3/4 drop or so from stock.
$10 for bolts for the hangers.

you can also flip the keys and get a flip kit for a 5/6 drop. But I have heard rumors of flipping the keys being unsafe.
$50, 40 for the flip kit, $10 for misc. bolts to flip the keys.

the last, and most expensive option is coil-overs. $$$$ for a safe 5/6 or more drop.
could be from $800-1500 depending on how low, and what products.

to give you an idea, for the back of your truck any option for lowering the back of any yr ranger will work, but the front is a 98+ 4x4 style suspension and there really arent any products out there for lowering those.

yea..i wouldn't even try to bother lowerin an edge. i thought about it for a good 2 months because im in the same boat..2WD baby!!..haha..anyways..from what i've read and heard that its too big of a PITA to even attempt. i would just trade in your edge for a 2wd tacoma or x-runner..lol..

I saw one bagged edge when I went to flagstaff a few years back, I remember thinking of how poor of a job it was, I had no idea at the time of how hard it was to drop an edge....

well they make those air over shocks (air ride technologies shockwaves) that all u have to do is remove the front shocks an replace them with these, but also have to run the compressors an lines an all that stuff, i jus dont know how low they will let u go? thats jus for the front too

I haven't bothered with mine. Just stick your 18's on it and life goes on. I haven't had any problems with mine.
