rear shocks

Hey guys i think my rear shocks are pretty shot. It doesnt ride all that well and it has almost 130,000 on them so i'm looking for either an upgrade or just put in new stock ones. Would it be better to buy a more expensive and better shock than just your normal stock ones and if so what kind? Thanks

I just bought brand new front and rear KYB monomax's for $234 off summitracing.com about a month ago, I thought they were pretty cheap, and I love them, they ride really smooth.. Either that or get bilstiens for around the same price, I'm not sure what the OEM one's go for.. Just make sure to get an alignment after you install them.. check your outer tie rods too while you're in there if you're doing this yourself, mine were shot and had to replace them as well.

i am looking at some air shocks to help with towing/ payload and keeping the rear up. Also i have shackles which added 2 inches in the rear which is unaccounted for in the shocks.

what about settling with something as simple as this...?

I'm not really looking to spend all that much money, just something to fix the problem and maybe even gain a little if thats possible
