Rear Sway bar installed
Rear Sway bar installed
Nothing too fancy, just like the titled says.
I got me a rear sway bar off a 94 ranger at the J/Y for 17 bucks.
Got it on today. Works great...love the handeling now. I can take the curves around my area a lot faster without any roll. Havnt had it on the bumpy road or the highway yet.
I was too lazy and tired to get back under the truck to get some pics, so maybe tomorrow i'll get some up.
Next install:
Towing Hitch

The only thing that pissed me off about it, is i got it from a local pull and pay.
Thing was a Bi*** to get off, due to lack of power tools on the site, had to do it all with a ratchet, and a long pipe.
thing was listed at 13.99, but they charged me a core charge (they make there money on returned steel) so that was like 1.50 that i wont get back cause mine didnt have one. Then there was like another 1.something for enviromental fees, but still the 17 was way better than 80. So overall im happy.

The bushings still looked/feel solid, the bolts were in good shape, and the bar wasnt rusted, and still had a decent paint job left on it.
Only issue is when i was taking off a U clamp on the axle i broke on side of it that holds the nut on. So i went to another truck found another one and took that.

i use to work at one... the way we did it was based upon the price we paid for the vehicle, compared with its condition and value for another vehicles.. we would sell engines for 500-1000 bucks, axles 100-200, sway bars and such i have seen almost 50 bucks charged...
