I have a 2008 Ford ranger 4wd club cab with a fiberglass topper. I use it to tow a 16' Scamp trailer. Today I got some front-end work done. The unit has 125,000 miles on it. I have had it since 36,000 miles and haven't replaced shocks. I now notice that the rear seems to sit a little lower. What would be a good type/brand of replacement shock for this unit. Shock are used for comfort not height adjustment. You have sagging leaf springs. Add a helper left spring.

Or install air assist when you're lugging a heavy load. I've never been sorry I put 'em on my DD.
