How hard is it to replace the ball joints on a 01 ranger 2wd coil sprung. Mine are sqeaking and boots are ripped up so it's time to replace them.

 

Get a ball joint press from O'really's or Vatozone, and then it's not that hard. You just gotta separate the knuckle from the ball joints, remove the snap ring that keeps them from backing out, the press the old joint out, and press the new one in.
