Why is there a need for 4" lift shocks? Do you have a Superlift suspension lift?

i know rough country makes the 4'' lift shocks you want and if I remember right they aint bad on the price either
You'll have to look into them but i just put gabreil load carriers in the back of mine and they added 500 lbs of extra weight carryig ability per shock and they were onlt 75 bucks for a pair

Lift from what? If it is from a torsion bar crank or keys, good luck.
The ride must be horrible. Longer shocks will kill your CV joints and balljoints.

I just put a set of Rough Country nitro 9000 series on my 86. I'm not certain because I bought it this way, but from measurements I've taken of brackets and blocks, it's got about 4" in front and 4.5" in back. Only done a quick drive though the neighborhood to test it out. The previous shocks were absolutely shot. After taking one off, I compressed it and it didn't go back out on it's own. It makes it ride so much nicer. It's like a different truck.

The way I shopped for them was, I went to several large online retailer websites. Put my truck info in and it brought up shocks that would work. When you make your selection, there will likely be some sort of menu to choose from various lift heights.

Good luck.

4x4 06 fx4 I know that you don't have a Superlift kit but what I can get you is their 3-4" shocks Frt. shocks measure 20.91 extended and 14.91 col. run you $30 ea.
