Simple Q about lift shackles

Will the universal type lift shackles they sell at autozone and places work on our trucks?

Make sure they are the right width.

I just looked at them online and they look pretty flimsy. Chevrolet drop shackles will lift Rangers. Look into those.

What Im doing is using a flip kit to lower the back about 5-6 inches, and am gonna use a lift shackle to lift it up to a 3-4 inch drop,I know it sounds stupid but its about the only way to get a true 3-4 inch drop.I think I may spend $40 and go with the chevy drop shackles

chevy shackles are supposed to be a little flimsey too, unless it was just the specific set, but that was going on a lifted ranger and that inquirer was erged not to use them, for your application they might work.

Most of the "universal" ones won't work. There is a difference between the spring and hanger ends in terms of size.

Full size Chevy 2" drop shackles give you 1" of lift on a Ranger. I have them on my truck.

DJM sells a 2-3inch flip kit for the ranger, it comes with the normal 4-5inch flip kit and a lifting shackle

check it out at www.stylinconcepts.com
