small lift

ok i have a 94 4 cyl 5 speed 2wd, it had a canopy on it when i got it, when taken off the ride height is three inches higher in the rear.
i am thinking about lifting the front with 2 inch spacers to level it out.
i would like to run 235 70 15's on this thing, is it feesible what else do i need to do?
i am thinking that this is too easy must be more to it, it has 14 inch tires right now, i think the 2 inches and the bigger tire would make it sit just about right.
anyone done this, i am sure some have, and what did ya end up doing, spending, and do ya have pics?
thanks
brian
