How To: Safely Unloading Torsion Bars with 2-Jaw Gear Puller (Tip)

Some people say a gear puller can be sketchy, although the actual U-shaped tool would still have a similar problem. It is a lot less likely to slip if you use straps like I did.

Watch how I did it:

Hope this helps!!. You can rent a gear puller for free instead of buying the tool and this method made it a lot more safe than when i did it without the straps.

I think I just loosened that tension bolt and backed it out to install my -07 keys.
