Stumped on what to do.

So this year Im gonna have to get new tires and Im wondering what size I should get. Right now i have 265/70/16s and they look kinda small to me. I think i wanna try and stuff 285s under there. Not sure though. Im planning on doing just a 1 inch bodylift(I have my reasons for not doing a 3 inch so dont say it) sometime before i get tires. Also another little note is I cant crank my bars anymore. The driver side is maxed out already. So will they fit?

My truck as it sits right now... Gimme some ideas Yay or Nay?

do you have you bars cranked at all? I guess i would feel more comfortable if I could crank my bars a lil bit more. Never did get it leveled out.

I think 285s look retarded without any lift personally. With a 1" body lift it will look better. Cranking the torsion bars sucks, period.
Aftermarket (slightly wider) wheels will make any tire look bigger though too. I think that 265/76/16s on 16x8" wheels (or 32x11.50s on 15x8s which would also be cheaper and ride better) would look better than 285s on stock wheels. Additionally, you will lose less performance with 32x11.50s or 265/75s.

I would love to get the 3 inch. 2 Reasons first with a 3 inch and 33s the damn truck wont fit in my garage. Second the lady friend aka ball and chain believes I should be working to get out of debt before I lift my truck. So she knows I need tires and she will never notice a 1 inch bodylift.

Hey if you want to Scott still has my 255/85/16's if you wanted to test fit them. they are like a 33 that way maybe you could atleast get an idea if you have enough room.

What kind of ghetto garage do you have? lol
My F150 fits in a standard garage with a 2" lift and 35s. My sport trac and ranger both fit in standard garages with 3" body lift and 33s.

I mean I would rather have a 1" body lift instead of 3" as well, and I guess I can see you hiding the 1" body lift, but you must have a real old small garage door or something...?
