? about 3" BL and belt rubbing hole in hose

Ever since I got my 3" PA lift on, my truck hasn't run right, like it did before the lift was put on. I couldn't figure it out until maybe now. I can see where one of my belts/pulleys is rubbing a hole or very close to it in my AC hose (I believe that is the hose). This hose is also very close to the fan (maybe 3/8") and too tight to move it out of the way or so I believe.
I did a search and a few people have had this problem and I am wondering how I can get it fixed. I probably need a new hose that is longer but unsure where to get that.
Any other tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

if you would have read the instructions completely they state that the hose needs to be moved and reclamped also supply a piece of hose to wrap around it....

Zach,
I actually had a shop around here put it on. For $200 I couldn't resist that knowing how long it would have taken me to do it by myself. They do plenty of them but mostly jeeps. I wish they would have read the instructions. Oh well. Do you know how difficult it would be to replace that hose or should I just take it to the shop and tell them to fix it?
I just zip tied the hose away from the pulley and it runs great now so that is or was the culprit. I just hope this lack of reading didn't cause any damage to my AC system.

I would almost take it back to the shop you had install it, along with a set of directions, and have them admit fault. Then ask them to replace the hose.

$200 for a bodylift install? shoot.....that's about a 7hr job....figure $50 per hour for labor...you definately got a good deal.

take it back to them, make them fix it as they are at fault for not doing the job correctly as per the instructions. Or you fix it.

They thought it was a 3 or 4 hour job. I am going to see what they will do today but if not I still made out good.

that hose is about as much as the body lift so unless you wanna drop close to $200 you better raise hell because they should have done it, it shows clearly in the instructions
