Superlift-1800 Installed...

I'm down in Santee, Ca and went to a shop called Four Wheel Direct (any local guys please chime in about them!!) and they quoted me a superlift kit installed for $1800....is it just me or does that seem kinda odd??

I assume the superlift kit doesnt come with shocks either......right?

it comes with shocks.

i think the kit is 1400 so they want 400 to install it not too bad i guess.

I keep getting prices of 1700-1800 for the kit...

It'd probably be a good idea to have the balljoints replaced while it's in eh? Or are there new UCA's and LCA's with the kit?

I was going to install the kit myself, but I wont have the time for 4 months from now, and I'm impatient...

How many miles? If I were to install it on my truck I'd get new wheel bearings but then again my truck has 126K miles on it.

I don't think there are new arms with it.
How many miles do you have on your BJ's?

1400 installed sounds like a screaming deal, but thats because I like in Canada, where we use monopoly moniez

if they are doing it for 1800 installed that is not bad.

also id say if everything is fine and you have less than 75k miles on the truck then dont replace them.

Not that bad?

Would you trust them to do an install?

I''ve got the itch and I dont want to wait 4 months to do it myself...

Truck is stock FX4 with 28k miles on it. Been running 32's for the past 5k. Stock was 31'

On the superlift web-site the kit alone is $1,900...lol!!! and that doesnt include shipping.

I think the price you were quoted is a good price, I'm not basing that on what superlift charges for the kit. Like Beard stated, it goes for around 1400 and 400 for install is not over charging.

Then you have 1 week to complete the lift. Hell I'm a nice guy, I'll even give you 2 extra days. Next Sunday it will be completed.

$1800 installed is a HELL of a deal! I paid almost that much to get my kit and I installed it myself lol

If you want, get the kit for $1400 and install it yourself, its more fun that way...
