Sway bar messed up??

Ok so when im offroad or like when i hit a bump i hear a bang from the font of the truck and i was lookin for at it today and saw that the sway bar links have like a 1/4 inch play on the top of it where it connects to the bar. Is that normal or can that be whats causing the bump im hearing?? Thanks!

It's fine to drive. I have my sway bar links off. You'll notice a bit more body roll in turns so take it easy until you get used to it. Adapt your driving style accordingly until you get the new bushings or links. Or maybe you'll enjoy actually having an Independent Front Suspension and leave them off anyway

Try looking for just the bushings first. Maybe from Daystar. Else go the other route and get all new links.

And I'm guessing you never messed around with the links before...I take it your bolt runs UP thru the links...mine went DOWN... I think it may be easier to remove the way yours is setup though.

That's what was wrong with the pictures.....LOL I couldn't figure it out.
I was trying to remember what mine look like, but that's true....my nuts are at the bottom, not the top....LOL

I took my whole bar/links off like 4 months ago... there wasn't even anything wrong with it, haha. You can decide weather or not it's safe or not safe for your truck, but I like it off. I'm not telling you to disconnect it by any means, I'm just sayin', you might like it, as "sawred" mentioned above.

the links from superlift are jacked anyways... mine always had problems. I say see what you can pull off with those rubicon quick disco's like you were talking about.
