I got tired of having the stiffest suspension ever with an add a leaf, so I found a set of shackles at the jy and grabbed em.

I removed my add a leaf and threw the shackles on, the lift didn't change but now its about 1/8" taller, its much more comfortable, but oddly enough, I don't squat anymore than before hooked up to my 19' boat, tehe, it has a 302 as well.

She flexes a bit better too.

Any ideas why the add a leaf even mattered other than the lift and to harsh up the ride if it didn't change the load capacity?
