Can anyone tell me where the torsion bar is located and what it looks like i guess i have never had to do anything with any torsion bar so dont know where it is or what it looks like just what it does. Do you recommend a front end allignment afterwards?

98 plus is when torsion bars were used. They are only used on the models that have the 4x4 suspension on the front.

More precisely..

00' 4wd and Trailhead
01'-05' 4wd and EDGE (Tremor is an Edge package)
06' 4wd, Sport and STX (those names right?)
