want some opions.
i have a 2004 2 wheel drive ranger with the 2.3 liter engine and was looking for a little lift for it. i've seen the lift coils on evil-bay and other parts catalogs.
what i was thinking was since my truck was the regular cab if it would benifit me to get the front coils and rear springs out of another ranger that was a 4.0 extended cab and swap them over to mine.
i know an alignment would have to be done, but i didn't want to spend my last buck on a lift and have no beer money for the "hired help"
thanks in advance for any help or advice.

You really want to go cheap? Find some used Chevy 1500 coils...but I don't know if you engine weight will play a big deal with them...oh and be prepared...you will need camber bolts, an alignment, new shocks/extenders...

i checked out the chevy coils. does anyone else have an idea?
what do the lift spendles usually run for the 3" lift ? i see a few on the Classified section on rps and trs. and wondered if there was a problem with them or if they were just going to the 5.5" lift? thanks in advance
