I have a 2007 Ranger XLT 4x4 manual with cooper STT's (hate them tires) and want any advice or input on a shimmy I have. It is odvious at 65 mph and when I have a load in the back it is more noticable. I had the tires balanced and replaced the tie rod ends but did not get a alignment after. When the tires were balanced it seemed to went away but is back again and decided to replace the tie rod ends and no it is back again. It has 72,500 miles not really been off road much.

Update: I took it to a auto craft that your allowed to work on your own vehicle. I put it on a lift and raised the front end and tool a pinch bar under each of the front tires and looked at the ball joints well pushing up on the bar. Sure enough all ball joints need replacing, any recommendations on brand for ball joints? What is the average price on upper ball joints

go with the napa gold ball joints theyre guaranteed for life, plus thats what i put in my truck and i do bring it off road from time to time but the joints are still strong
