will new shackles mess up my exhaust position?

Goint to put in either a 1" block or belltech 6400 drop shackles for about 1.5-2". I have magnaflow duals on my truck, will either of these require an adjustment on my exhaust or will it go up and down with everything else?

i needed to modify mine cause mine exited out the side. the easiest way to tell is just go look and see where the exhaust exits

It will all go up together and i suggest the belltech shackles blocks are a no no. Especially when you stack them.

whay are blocks a no no, others have said the same. If i only go up another inch with blocks will it still be bad? i want to avoid the rake that the shackles might cause although it might not be too bad. and my exhaust exits out the rear not the side.

if you can mate the blocks together, itd be ok. like weld them or bolt them together. so its pretty much a single, taller block

Your exhaust should be fine but stacking blocks causes axle wrap. I mean i don't recommend it but if that's what you want to do then by all means go for it. On my 2000 ranger i had 3in lift blocks that caused horrible axle wrap in sand and other terrains. It ended up stripping some u-bolt's and i ended up slinging the drive shaft.

hmmmmm im very confused now. i went to see the guys at my local tire/suspention place and they recomended the blocks to get another inch or so. they didnt know anything about the 6400 shackles though. He said he had 3" blocks on his massive dodge in addition to a 6" lift and that he does all sorts of crazy things. Im very tame when it comes to 4x4 abuse. I Just wish I knew more about this.

They don't. The chevy shackles have 3 different holes in them for different amounts of lift.

If you aren't going to listen to peoples opinions why do you bother asking?

I had to move my tailpipe a bit because after the shackles my leaf spring was just barely rubbing on the pipe.

if the pipes run outside of the hitch the shackles will be in the way of the pipes. i had to cut my rear exit duals when i lifted my truck because of the longer shackles.

Ahh, good to know thats my exact setup, looks like its blocks for me.

before I put on the blocks I just want to make sure Im not making a huge mistake. They wont wreck my truck right(i dont do huge 4x4 action anyways)? As I read more into it it seems that 32" tires may help me as well.
