Why not just crank the bars? The keys are a waste of money.

 

I don't feel like debating why getting keys give you more lift, but they do by like 2"

 

The lift keys off ebay are a waste of money. 07 and back ones aren't though. Just gets him to where all pre-08's are.

 

Yea I guess for 08 and up. Ya'll got screwed on ride height!

 

Yeah he can crank the bars....but won't get the same height as an 07 and earlier truck. PreKey mod fixes that and makes it the height of an 07 with the same bolt pre-load.

It is a form of a lift key, but a stock one that doesn't damage parts and allow for overcranking like the aftermarket 'leveling kits' do. Basically, converting the suspension to 07 and earlier.



BUMP! for PreKeys! I'll have a set someday...at this rate, I'll have stock keys for sale in about 12 months. lol.

Did we ever find out if Explorer ones were the same? Tons of those in the junyards now.
