Melt don't worry about these guys giving you trash, this place tends to trash people on the slightest crap. Once one person starts there are always more jumping on the band wagon.

Melt is a cool guy I just dont agree with him trying to make the officer look like an idiot when he knows nothing about where/what he is doing.

I disagree with this statement. I don't think anyone was trashing Melt. Just stating opinions about his video. Not everyone has to like any one's other opinions, taste, or likes. If so it would be a boring forum.

 

I didn't read everyy word every one wrote here, but.... everyone who is defending that cop is stupid. Ya we know they don't always use their sirens or signal, and yes i want an officer on scene as quickly as possible to help me.

Answer me this... how much help would an officer be when he's a pile of blood and guts in the middle fo the road b/c he was driving wrecklessly to an accident? How much help is an officer who is causing people to crash by startling them when he passes them at 120 on a bike 2 feet from their fender? seriously.

Ya it's nice the cops are in a hurry to help people, but why can't he be safe about it? the bike is equipt with a siren and light for a reason. Why would he not flip 2 switches to ensure the saftey of himself and all the vehicles around him? He's an idiot. he's not helping anyone by driving like a maniac.

How many times do you see cops talking on cell phones while driving. All the time. They are cops, the rules don't apply to them and that is the way it is going to be. So what he didn't signal. Big deal, I hardly ever signal on the highway.

Read the god damn California Traffic laws. It is fine to pass in the middle on a motorcycle. They can! How come everyone who doesn't live in CA understands that and you CA residents do not??

 

You dont realize that doing that creates more problems. It would be easier just to slip through like he did then put on the lights and sirens and cause a panic to the drivers. People react differently to loud sirens and flashy lights.

How do you know he is going to an accident? ? You dont. Could be a domestic in a car on the shoulder or could be looking for someone who just committed a robbery..(Or maybe he was just mad at Melt for driving slow in the fast lane ) Sometimes they have to drive wreckless to get somewhere fast. So be it

 

ya you guys are totally right, im sorry for ever thinking that a police officer being safe was a good idea. what was i thinking? they should all just start firing their guns off in random directions, maybe they'll hit a bad guy! The rules of the road don't apply to cops! I forgot! maybe the rules of physics don't either so when his 600 lb bike hits a 3000lb car at speed he'll get up and hop to his feet. no big deal.

 

well if anyone is wondering why the video is no longer up, i chose to remove it after being introduced to some alternate viewpoints as a result of it being posted here.

Also had a former associate of mine who i havent spoken with since may of last year decided to talk some **** on me on it and i dont need that right now.
