My warlock muffler.
Since some on here have expressed interest in my Warlock muffler, I have made a vid showing the difference in sound with the cut out open or closed.
this is a 2.3 DuraTec with 2.5" pipe from the cat back, and a warlock race series muffler with built in bypass.

It's a 4cyl....there's no way to NOT make it sound like rice. lol. Thats my only worry about getting a 4cyl for my next ride.....it's gonna get exhaust...but...
Sounds alright man. I'd hit it.

lol, you have to hear it in person, with the plug in, how I normally run it, it's alot quieter than the vid makes it sound, barely louder than stock, verry low key, and under normal driving, its very deep and low. Not ricey at all, till I take the plug out, but then it's just too damn loud.
And just so you know, I originally had this muffler on a '67 Fairlane with a 289, and it sounded awesome. Just sayin so you don't think I bought a cut out muffler for a 4- banger, it's just what I had laying around.
Yeah...Definitely take it off and put the factory muffler back on.. No offense or anything.. I like the truck though.. But this is the reason why i left my 4 cylinder the way it was. Like ive said before.. The best exhaust for a 4 cylinder is stock exhaust.
A flowmaster might sound a little better, my friend ran one on is 01 duratec. The muffler took a lot of the rasp out. If it were me though, Id run a stock exhaust with a high flow intake. Its your truck though, and its up to you to do what you want, I was just giving an idea.
