Icon2 05' ranger edge need rim help

Hey RF,

Here's a pic of my truck currently:

Alright guys here's my ordeal. I'm currently running stock wheels/tires and can only upgrade one thing at a time. My tires have a good amount of time left (20k+ miles) and i can't stand my current rims (2 of them are cracked) so i need me some new rims ASAP. Thing is i have never bought rims so this will be my first attempt.

I was told my specs are 15x8 and my bolt pattern is 5x4.5 (not really sure what this means). I am looking for some black alloy spoke rims, problem is that i haven't really come across any that i like or they are either too much. I can spend about $100-120 per rim at most. I also don't have an eye for what will look good. As i stated before i can only do one thing at a time im going to be running the rims on my current stock wheels, in a month or two i will get me some good A/T's 33". My problem is im not sure whats going to look good with my current setup and which rims will work with the tires i will be getting in the near future.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

edit: i need to buy rims within this week

The 5x4.5 is your bolt pattern. Meaning you have 5 lug nut holes spaced 4.5" across.

So basically any 15x8 rim with 5x4.5 bolt pattern is what you want. Stick with a backspacing between 3.25 and 4

Thanks for clearing up the bolt pattern. I get that now. On the backspacing note i would like the wheels to stick out alittle so what should i go with on that. I really have no idea what im doing. I feel like i need someone to be like "go with these rims" lol...

Haha no. Your current rims are 16x7. The reason you had 15x8 rims recommended to you is because the tires and rims are normally a good bit cheaper.

For the wheel/tire to stick out more go with a lower backspacing on the rim. The 3.31" backspacing on the Sidebiters is exactly what your looking for.

I'll try to dig up some more rims for you

Alright Thanks much, so my next question would be will those sidebiters fit on my current wheels?

No they will not fit the current tires. Forgot about that part lol

They sell the sidebiters in 16" but they're more expensive.

So i need to be looking for some rims that are 16" with 5X4.5 bolt pattern in order for them to fit my current tires?

I've always liked the spoke type rim, but im not sure what the "hole" design would look like.

oh that's a great find. personally i love the spoke look but thanks for the link. and yeah those are cheap!

The wheels im really liking right now are these:
Pro Comp Wheels 7089-6865 - Pro Comp Wheels Xtreme Alloys Series 7089 Wheels - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Only thing that's confusing me is the offset, i would like the wheels to stick out alittle and it says the offset is at 0mm. If anyone could clear this up it would be great.

The BS is 4.5 in so they will sit about where the stock ones do on those procomps.

After doing some research and looking around a good amount, i have my mind set on these:

KMC XD Hoss Series, Size 16X8, Bolt Pattern 5X4.5, Finish is Black, Off Set +00MM - XD Hoss 16" - Off Road Unlimited

Please let me know what you guys think and how you think they will look on my truck, considering this is a big purchase :)
