i have an 8in wheel with 12.5's. it was a tough choice, because theres a few guys at my work that "wheel" together, and the one tech has a LvlII, and he has the 10in wheels, with the 12.5, and i thought that it looked too... i don't know... flat, on the side.
We have taken our wheels off, and campared them side by side. his, 33x12.5x15 Buckshot mudder on the eagle alloys 15x10 rim, next to my 33x12.5x15 buckshot mudder on rockcrawler 15x8 rim. his is 1/2 in taller. My tires are newer[then less then 4000 miles]and his had at least 15K on them, but the footprints were equal.
the one time i know that he's been offroad he blew a bead going through a rut with 25psi in the tire, i hit the same rut twice[to prove i could] with 15psi, and no problem. at all
