16 Inch Rims

Will 16 inch rims fit on a stock 1994 Ford Ranger 2WD 3.0?...I want to get rid of my 14inch for 15 inch rims but there is a killer deal for 16 inch rims.

i would guess it depends on bolt pattern and the tire size you go with

Yes, they will fit on your truck. Whether or not you get the right size of tire though is a different subject matter in itself.

Why is this in the 3.0 section?

I had stock 16 inch wheels come on 2004 Ranger Edge when i bought it, and i'm running 16's now. Don't know if the suspension/ wheel wells are the same though.

Edge's aren't the same as a 94.

I have a set of 16'' steelie rock crawlers on mine and their doin fine only thing is that i got 235/75's on it and when i turn all the way to the right it scrubs a little on my sway bar but i hardly ever turn that far over so it aint botherin me.
just make sure you get 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern
Most jeeps have the same bolt pattern. thats what mine came off of.

My 96 has 16s

16 x 7.5 inch wheels with 225/60R16 98T. Nearly identical height to stock height 225/70R14 so Speedo is still accurate. Excellent traction and handling and so much easier to find than 14s.

Note: I use wheel adapters with hub centric rings to center the 7.5JJx16 six lug wheels I put on it from a 95 Isuzu Rodeo 4wd. Without the HC rings it drives like it needs rear axle bearings, or having an out of round tire.

Btw 2 piece aluminum adapters are treacherous. The inner bolts can loosen then snap off. Then the adapter might break off and take your wheel with it. But if installed well but not overly tight, with a little blue loctite, and I love it. But getting to the brakes sucks. My local shop hates them but they aren't winning any awards either.
