1998 Ford Ranger switch to 245/70R16

1998 Ford Ranger 2.5 XL
I received rims with 245/75R16 tires. Are 245/70R16 tires ok replacements for this truck? (Pic 1 below)

Will this size wear out the suspension faster than factory sized wheels?

I currently have 235/70R16 set on 2004 Ford escape rims (Pic 2 below)

The tires are taller which makes it harder to get up to speed from a stop. Once you get up to speed the RPM is reduced making the engine more relaxed

I went with 235/70/R16. They are not rubbing at all. The 245/75R16 will still fit aok since the rims have Ranger offset.
