2020 Ranger Tire Size increase question ...
Does anyone know if I can bump up the tire size on a 2020 Ranger Lariat (using the stock 18" wheels) from the OEM installed 265 / 60 / 18's to 275 / 70 / 18's without incurring any clearance problems? The vehicle is still in the oven. Just planning ahead. I'll be having a 2" leveling kit installed upon delivery. Thanks. G-Pop.
I am going to be guessing at this as I as of yet do not own a new ranger.
But the new tire size is 2 3/4" taller than the stock. Just looking a rangers, I think you should be okay but may need a little
trimming on the front. Worst case scenario is to go to Rough Country and spend another $100 and add a 2.5" leveling kit to lift the front.
They don't say what maximum tire size is, but you could ask previous users in their comment section.
And remember, that when the speedo reads 60, you will actually be doing around 65.
