3.25 backspacing? lets see your backspacing

i want to get 3.25 backspacing but due to local laws im re-considering it as i dont like the look of fender flares.
I'm getting 8 inch wide rims!
Does anyone here have 3.25 backspacing?

Id appreciate it if anyone with custom wheels on larger tires (31+) posted pix of their truck and wrote their backspacing so i can get an idea, thanks alot!

I'm not the guy to talk to about wear =]

I've got 6k miles on them and they're pretty much cooked from wheeling. THey're a mildy soft compound tire that hooks up like no tomorrow but trades off in wear. I doubt the 6k road miles had much to do with my wear though. They're directional too, keep that in mind.

Btw.......alex jones talks about some interesting stuff but is off his rocker haha

Notice he doesn't have fender flares. Those factory flares can play tricks with your eyes when it comes to BS.

My Mickey Thompson's have 3.3" and were under $400 new shipped to my door from Summit.

I'm very happy with them, I think the truck looks perfect with them.

I thoughtt the more backspacing, the more the tire sticks out. Am I wrong?

It is the opposite. They lower the BS the more it sticks out. a 3.25 will stick out more than a 3.75

the backspacing is measured from the inner wheel lip to the mounting surface where the lug nuts are. so a 3.75 backspacing rim will be sucked in more than a 3.25. if you have an 8" rim with 3.75 BS, then you have 4.25" of rim outside vs. 4.75" outside on a 3.25 BS rim
