Wife got me some 31 already mounted on steel rims so I swapped em over this morning. I am planning on going to 33's when I can find a great deal.

I know it needs to be cleaned, you are welcome to come over and wash it if you want. I personally don't like the beauty rings, and wish my center caps fit on wheels. Think I'll clean the stock wheels and paint them black while I have these on. Any tips on cleaning the brake dust?

 

what where your old ones? they just dont look that much bigger than the old ones. maybe my eyes are broken

 

My old ones were stock size 235 75 R15, but the front were 60% or so and the back were 25%. The 31s are 25% or less. My speedometer was about 6 miles per hour off with the stock size, but is only 1 off with 31s, I think it would be on with new 31s. I guess the person who had it before more had it recalibrated before it got repo'd

 

wesleys tire and wheel cleaner and steel wool with warm water works great if you have an hour or so to spare

 

Meguiars Mag and Aluminum polish if you've got the time. just wash it off with some soap. and the polish will make cleaning it so much easier.
