32's on 18's?

I planned on buying wheels, was going 16 again, but found a killer deal on 18's, and just can't let it go. My dilemna is that I'm NOT lifting, and don't want to stuff 33's. So that leaves 18's and 32's. I don't wheel, if I did I would go with 15's and meaty tires. I'm afraid this set up would look goofy on a Ranger. But then again...

The 18's and wrapped by Terra Grapplers

275/65 18 (32.1x10.8) (Please excuse to the Yotas/Nissan)

Have you bought 18" tires before?
Go with 16's or 15's. Tires are sooo much cheaper for 15's.

None of the rims pictured are the ones I want. Those pictures are simply to show the proportions of the 275/65's on an 18" wheel.

EDIT: Put up the rims I'm considering. Might influence a decision or two.

The price of the 18's plus tires=the price of 16's plus tires, so no extra cost... for the first set. Then won't have to worry for hopefully 35k-40k miles.

My F150 came with 18x7.5's with 275/65/18's. Didn't like them much personally. But can be okay with a decent tire I suppose. I don't think those would look good on a ranger though, just offering my opinion.
But it's your truck so who cares.

Do it. We need more variety on this site. I'm getting tired of seeing BFG AT's on a majority of the truck but then again I have DC-1's!

i like 18s way more than 16s. if i do step up to 35's i will up size to 17s for functionality (long travel ftw)

Sounds good man, the only knowledge of the look i have so far is from guess work, looking at other vehicles, then at a ranger... No substitute for the real thing.

hey man this is what 32s on 18s looks like. it makes it sit up a lot higher and i did nothing to lift it, i didnt even crank the tortion bars. I did however have to put 1.25" wheel spacers to get the mustang rims to fit and i think that is what keeps it from rubbing. my tires were bought used with 50% tread so that might be another reason they dont rub. there will be more pics on my profile page too
