I have 33's and 3.73s with an auto. It moves along just fine. Yea, I have a trans cooler and I don't really tear around on it. If I need more torque off road, I have 4 low.

i got 4.56's with 33's with a 3.0 and i beat a stock 04 ranger 4.0 in a quarter mile at the drag strip lol but ya you can tell te differnce i drove mine with 3.73's and 33's for about a week or two and hated it but the interstate it was fine but now i got my 4.56's and im loving it i can burn them tires any time "not recommended" but i hope you understand were im getting at i had 31's a while back with 3.73's and destroyed the transmission within two weeks because i beat the hell outta it

i got 33's with 3.73 and notice a little power drop, and some MPG but you give to get you know what i mean, it wont kill it tho, find a wreck 4x4 ranger with the 8.8. thats what i am lookin for
