32x11.50 to 33x12.50?? How much different?
Right now I have 32"x11.50 BFG m/ts. I need new tires now and was thinking of going to 33"x12.50. Was wondering how much affect that will have on my mpg and how much different it will "feel" compared to 32's, as far as power loss is concerned... Oh and how much sweeter would 33's look??
I havent regeared and still have stock 3.73's, with 32's its liveable, what will 33's do?. Im debating whether or not its worth the trouble and $$ going with 33's if it means I must regear this truck thats getting up there in mileage....

Sorry, what do you mean stock? I have stock gears and not sure if I want to spend the money to regear since Im debating whether to keep this truck or upgrade to newer ranger...
Stock height, with no lift.
I run a 3.0 5 speed extended cab 4wd with a 3 inch body and 33 12.5s and 3.73s. Its livable but could use a little more gearing. Being that I'm a college student tho... its gonna have to work for now. I also have 15x8 steel wheels which weigh a ton compared to your stock alloys... been looking for some new aluminum wheels tho.
I was thinking about getting a 8.8 out of an explorer with 4.10 l/s but just don't think it'll make enough difference to justify the cost and hastle of a new axle front and rear...
