I think it was just flat black. I actually used the RustOleum Rust proof black paint. I tried adding clearcoat to it but didn't turn out right. Held up really good until the tire shop put new tires on so now I need to respray some areas. I don't really care about them because i'm not gonna keep them on much longer.

You can check this thread and see how Brenda's truck looks with the BL, T-bar crank and 33x10.50's

haha, yeah, I don't get up there but once every 1-2 years. just depends on the schedule. next time I'll bring the ranger.
yeah red, you decide yet? aren't stockers 15x7? just do like DSFD (and like I will probably do!!) and save your money for your lift and rubber...wheels...meats...whatever they're called.

don't get me wrong, I totally understand the "dislike" of cookie cutter thin wheels...Do what ya gotta do. I'm more on the side of Taz and my wallet with having a DD ranger that looks good. and yeah, once you get to where you have the option of going bigger DO IT!
oh and as far as backspacing goes...I like less backspacing. I like super deep rims and for them to stick out a good bit. I don't know the BS on my dad's yota that he let me drive for at least 4 years. we still have it in the family. here's some pics of it. the less BS the more they stick out. the more the BS the more they are tucked up under the vehicle. These are just 31.10.50's. 33.12.50's are off the hook. don't rape me, it's a taco...but I will always like my first truck. haha I've got one or two pics somewhere with the 33.12.50's. maybe one day i'll post them up
